Had a great weekend, a bit of back n forth to town, but that is the way it goes. Got a few showers, mud holes are half full if that, saw fewer riders out and about on our country wide tours. We had a few new people out on the rides that had never been out before, looked like they all enjoyed themselves. In fact there were a couple out (older) that may never see that type of country again without riding in SxS. sad state of government from what i see.

I agree, I have 3 older friends that helped build our Province and a good chunk of Canada.

The rewards for their hard work is to be enjoyed on foot,,, sad thing is that 1 of them is still very active less a leg and arm.
The other 2 are battling back and other injuries. Yet all 3 truely enjoy getting out West to enjoy the mountains.

I guess the West country will only be for those that are in good shape and able bodied.

The reality is that many of us "could" find our selves in the same boat.

I guess the environment'est only see things for them selves, greed to others, but not them selves.

Most of them only see the West country 2 to 7 Times in their entire life time.
They don't have the strength them selves to walk the length of the Hummingbird to White Rabbit packing 88 lbs of gear,,, if they would of been out there last week,,, they would of froze to death with the hail and snow storms back there.

Oh well, guess we will have to buy Pack Lamas to see the back country. I'd do the domestic Sheep thing since they run on 10 X's less fuel. LOL

Take in what we have till the cost of seeing the forest is beyond our means.
