There were a few of them in areas along the quad trails, but most are now hiding with the opening of hunting season, Ha.

Bring on the chill

Good weekend for Oldtimer and pal Lem as we cursed the cut-lines, looked at lakes, rocks and trees.

Got too use the stuck and tow rigging more than we wanted to, but this plan worked well for Harvesting critters as it brought us on too 1 nice size Bull Moose with 2 girl friends, Ha.

Nice weather both days in the West country, bit chilly on Sunday morning with frost on the ground, but well worth the early start as leaves were Yellow/Brown and the travel mugs of hot coffee made for an awesome adventure some where no where.

Pal had big toy box and I had my frugal pick-up truck rig for bush camping with massive bon-fires now that we have the tax free carbon tax sticker. Ha.

Can't wait to get more rides in now that quad season is under way, forecast is for no winter this year since the plan is too have one season called "Winntummer".

It's winter and summer all rapped into one, that way we can have Christmas in August, New Years in May and look for White Easter Eggs in January in the snow.

That's the weekend report from Lem Lamb's the way we see it from the Eastern Slopes of Alberta that is a small part of the dream.

Keep good, stay young, pin it when in dought, and always help out a stuck Honda farm quad when you can.

All quiet on our western front as the folks forgot to bring ammo, Ha.

I got too practic Honda 420 nose diving into holes, buddy tugged me out many times as he was packing heavy.

Lots of new round abouts now that one can see threw the trees less the leaves and foliage.

Trails are garbage free, most are passable, and soon to be frozen for farm quads. Ha.

We picked out 1 close run from camp to a back woods Lake that took 4 hours one-way, then we found a new road off the other side for return run, "Who-da thunk".

Fall and winter runs are my fav now that I have tracks to get around, flat land trips with them will be fun.

Driver spotted running 2 sleds towing aluminum sled deck heading Westerly.

Guess that old Ford couldn't do the job. Ha.
