I understand doug, I just would like to keep this thread fun, with lots of back and forth jibber jabber, some good natured teasing, less pics of me doing stupid chit would be nice!! these 20 plus post are thread killers especially when you're not interacting with anyone. yes you got me at a bad time, off my meds.

Had a decent ride yesterday until around 5pm and about 20 Kms into nowhere. A little carnage. Couple of girls were doubling on a quad, rolled it on top of themselves. One broken arm and one bruised pelvis. They weren't a part of our crew but we were there to see it happen and sort chit out and get them out of the bush. Fricken newbies....

now that scares the crap outta me, not everyone gets to walk away with a few bruises!!! usually it can be a long pain full, trip out to help.

I was wanting to go for a ride but, due to my mechanical ability, I had to tear the driveshaft out of the ranger again !!!! arghh

Thanks for helping them out.

Just curious did they have anything thing with them as being prepared for emergency's
no they had nothing. Two 14 yr old girls on a two wheel drive, 250cc Canadian tire special. There dad was on a Honda 420. It was raining and slippery. Rolled on an off camber. They were wearing helmets. They had no idea how to get back to a road. No first aid kit. I supplied them with rain coats, a sling and some bandage for a laceration. I kicked my partner out and drove the girl with the broken arm out and my buddy drove the other girl out in his RZR. Bent the quad back into shape and my bud drove it out. I think there were some hard lessons learned.

Its great you helped..

Lesson learned, carry emergency supplies, know how to get back..Understand how to ride and the machines capabilities

Hope they understand..

Lucky only a broken arm.
