Pitted ??? Hail not going to pit the glass mike, it will crack or break, house windows aren't that type of glass

Thats what i thought to there not laminated..they have some marks on the glass but thats it,,he was even talking about the deck boards being marked up..lol

Your going to have a hell of a time trying to claim decking, they will look and call it normal wear and tear, your siding is pooched and if it's more then 8 years old it will get completely re done on all sides because you won't be able to color match it, judging by the pictures of the siding, your roof is a write off as well, don't let them off on not doing the roof, golf ball sized hail destroys a roof in a hurry

Thanks Bob....And ya the roof is wrecked ,you can see the marks on the shingles. the railing on the deck is even dented to,,cant believe the damage,,house was built in 06 ,07

Would be nice if the exterior products were made to live here in Western Canada... But there's no money in that

Can't see any vinyl siding holding up to that hail, aluminum either. And if it did it would be costly. Builders like cheap as possible so do most buyers

Foam backed stands up a little better, and hardie plank works, both are about double the price.

Well if you just replace the vinyl siding u have, u will be doing it again, sooner than later, may be time to bite the bullet and upgrade

Hardi plank is great stuff, however it is a painted surface , I've installed lots of it over the years and it will withstand the hail very well, as far as the paint on it I can't say how durable it is after years of abuse from the weather. Your insurance company will only cover the cost of vinyl, if you want to upgrade to hardi plank you will have to pay the difference.
