Well..due to lack of consensus on here...the ol Lady and I are heading out Friday to an unadvertised location with freinds.

i'm thinkin bidhorn dam may be out to far for this weekend, cut off creek could still be good, or anyone like to go to the large campsite opposite the quarry just north of the turn off from secondary 592 to the forest trunk road. this may be the best site.

as of july 3 2012, only the onion lake trail is open. canary and huminng bird trails are closed, due to trail damage during spring floods. maybe check with the rocky office.
