Counter-sink the carbide button studs center section...
Angle in the outt'er studs will help keep them planted into the lug when torque-ing... Ha

Then prepare too go down...

Good times for sure...

I did this race 6 years in a row.

Fairmont and Grande Prairie were cold winters, but the Honda XR650L made all 3 then

Nothing better than being clocked at 165 kph down the straight away on that bike

Around 2am it was -45 without the wind, on a bike on ice, doing 165 LMAO......... My black winter leathers, were bone white and cack stiff, when I got off the bike. LOL

Was a great 6 years of racing.

My 4th and 5th year, I was living at Sandy Beach at the time of the races.

6th year I was living in St. and never rode for riverside that year. Ended up taking 1st place with a independent team, on a stoopid quick Banshee

That's awesome Trashy,,, I bet its fun,,, I need too get out there and see it with my own eyes...

Im doing the ice/ Gravel road stuff for out west,,, puttzzzz along sight seeing and enjoy the day away...

Just putting together my 2nd build...

Counter-sunk button studs just off center,,, Ice-Grippers on the outter lugs...

I definitely have the angles happening...

Angle the Rippers so they stay in place when wanking the throttle,,, picked up that idea from the winter time motocross riders...

Tested a set of angled studded tires on a long long gravel road and never lost 1 stud...

Attack angle of the stud digs in,,, the rubber lug presses down around it in the torque mode,,, Im thinking that the rubber lug squish'es down around the Ice-Gripper studs and holds them secure ...

I'll test 2 different studded tire sets in November,,, the first frugal set I built is working good enough for this year...

What a blast,,, ride all summer,,, then enjoy some winter rides,,, just the easy fun stuff...

Can't wait too test them on fully charged beer cans,,, Ha... I bet there no value in perforated ones...

Maybe I'll get lucky and up root Imdoo'ns hidden collection... lol
