I’m looking at possibly getting a new rear bumper with a hitch for a ‘24 Summit X. Anyone put one on their sled? What’s out there? I don’t want some blocky POS that some are making.

I am impressed by the Smithgrade rear bumper on my G4 and its hitch... it's removable and very stout.

Not really a detailed pic of hitch I use for the skimmer but I found an old spring ride pic showing it. Also sporting my Oilers extendo-Flap at the time for late April trip to Salmon.

I made to clamp around my round tube bumper. Used a door hinge and a couple inches of electrical conduit. (2) x 10 mm m6 to pop it off. I’m lazy and just ride with it. I Lined the inside of the tubing clamp with a thin rubber so it doesn’t scratch the Bumper powder coating. Whipped it up in 1/2 hour with Shat kicking around the garage.

I like the square bar to grab and lift, much better than round IMO
