Re: The type of people that say"oil is oil"

The original thread by "the chemist" on HCS appears to be gone?? Was that RPM machine even real? I remember there was some controversy over that.

P#5... The R.P.M. Unit (machine) was built with a stainless steel piston that run's up to 16,000 r.p.m's, I add E-10 gas into the port hole and add the oil to a 50-1 mix and run it until the database software on the computer tells me at what r.p.m. the oil break's down, It also tells me the viscosity under load pressure, was there any foam under heat and how much carbon build up under heat. The unit gets to a 116 Fahrenheit. I have noticed that with ethanol the carbon build up is very low with all oils, because ethanol is a strong solvent, cleanser, and drying agent. A good synthetic when using E-10 gas is a must, now with Non-ethanol gas the oils will read about 100 to 150 RPM's higher.

Re: The type of people that say"oil is oil"

I switched from Polaris VES in my '13 pro, after the valves got pretty gummy. I started running Royal Purple just to try something different, but hit a tree and totalled the sled of shortly after. I'm just curious if it's worth the $60 bux a jug to keep running it, or ??
For whatever reason I've been kindof 'anti Amsoil', but I'm slowly thinking that maybe I should give it a try.
.

Had the same issue with gummed up valves on Polaris ves, been running Amsoil interceptor for a couple years now and it seems to burn cleaner and stink a whole lot less, no issues at all with the Amsoil here.

I just did top ends in 2 800 pros. Both had similar mileage and same type of use.
I had been running VES Gold and the other had been fed Amsoil Interceptor.
Th Amsoil engine was much cleaner.

So where is the best place to buy Interceptor in south east ab?? I see Peavey mart has it, but for what they want for it I might just stick to Royal Purple.

Become a Dealer or preferred customer. Wholesale price is much better than retail.
