My 2007 Raptor 350's transmission won't shift into neutral when it's hot with the engine running sometimes. I've sat there trying for 5 minutes, wouldn't go, just keeps bouncing between 1st and 2nd. When the transmission is cool, or the motor is off, it works just fine.

Any ideas? Is this a common problem?

Is there any quick maintenance I can do that might solve the problem? Or am I looking at having to open up the transmission (in which case I'll just deal with it)

Thanks

Adjust your clutch cable it's probably stretched and is not disengaging all the way.

Probably clutch drag. Often caused by using oils not approved for wet clutch(ie automotive oils). You could try changing out the oil but will probably require new clutch friction plates.
