I bought me 2018 Tundra last year with 8000 kms on it. The truck was a courtesy truck for all the customers that owned Tacoma's and were getting their frames replaced.

they replaced my kids 2005 tacoma frame
total invoice was over 18k
this was 4 years ago
brake line shocks brakes leaf springs and all kinds of rusty and unsafe parts according to dealer
he would took 10gs for it and traded on a new one but they said no and had to fix it
$o cost to him

Ya I got my 05 done also. Had 285,000k on it. Mine had the driver side motor mount push through the frame. Now I have a 2017. Better check into this again.

and before that they were buying back trucks with frame rust
i told dealer if they gave him 12gs he would have traded up to a brand new truck and they siad wern't allowed
