We do eggs too, not commercial but just for friends and neighbors, about 30 layers I think she has left. The other day we send the kids down to collect and was oddly quiet. Looked out the window and the are having a egg fight. I was pretty amused but then again I don't do the laundry.

Would love to see a commercial egg operation one day

This is my dads place. 5400 layers, so this is a few days worth of eggs. We used to do 22000 breeder birds in sask. 18000 eggs a day is a whole different ball park!

The igniter on my furnace took a dump while we were away on holidays. The house was a balmy 4 degrees inside... Just what I wanted to come home to late last night... Big shout out to Atco for showing up promptly, (Free of charge I might add) and surprisingly having parts.. Not so free lol.
