Sorry should have explained further. My brother in law had his gooseneck ball on the back of the frame on his freightliner, had to raise the ball mount on the trailer due to height. It seemed to cause increased leverage on the LQ horse trailer so much that he had cabinets popping off the wall. Trailer guys say it is common after he got looking into it. So I would guess that if the hitch binds from being shortened? Not sure totally what the deal is just something to consider.


Im not understanding what you are pointing out. Goosenecks can come with a ball or a fifth wheel pin, can you explain further.

are you going to fix them?

Sorry, didn't word that very well...They brought that bin in while I was there and emptied all that sheet out of it. Someones back yard I guess? No I'm not rebuilding it, lol. Poor old Polaris had seen better days.
