where are the athabasca sand dunes?

North Western Sask, only way to get to these ones are by float plane, helicopter or boat....

you might be able to land a small wheeled plane in some areas, but I'm pretty sure there is a law about doing that.

Yeah, it’s a good trip. Approx 150km from the staging area. Usually ride half way, set up camp and ride to the dunes the next day. A lot of nice lakes to fish and scenery you wouldn’t think would be up here.

Choke cherry hill in idaho is over 500 feet tall. The 500 goes from 5th and drop down to 3rd just to get to the top. If Alberta has a hill like that please let me know where...i wanna hit it.

I could be. I never rode there myself but I know a few guys that go there and they say it’s fun.

been going up to richardson back country for 27 years also referred as six lakes. made it to lake athabasca about five times with atv but never made it the athabasca sand dunes by atv that border lake athabasca and part of alberta and saskachewan. always spend a week or two camping and fishing in the area. beautiful country one of a kind.
