5000sf of laurentian 3 1/4" plank would cost 65000 plus the stairs and extras. I don't think many people have that in the budget anymore.

It's probably 3million... I bet they had some wiggle room. Even an engineered would of been nice.

Yes. Made out of the product. This is actually a lvp. Kinda disappointing for such a big extravagant house
I did 5.5mm lvp in this house, about 1200 sq ft. I'll never use it again. Laminate or Engineered only for this guy.

I'm a hardwood kinda guy thats what I installed when i was on my knees. But seems that vinyl plank is all that sells now. Nice install btw.

There are good vinyls. But the cheap stuff is terrible. They will replace laminates. It's been a few years I bet since I've done a laminate

I would take a spc core click vinyl anyday before a laminate product but they all work as long as the floor prep is done to spec.

I don't know if they ever replace laminate...... They seem to have a 10 year revolving cycle

This is my floor, the day before we moved in. The lvp is decent, not very happy with my underpad choice. I feel the floor moves too much.

Did you do the floor too? What kind of wood is that? How thick is it?
