What’s the scuttlebut around town tejay? Was it a poor design or just a heavy snow load that attributed to the collapse
At the time of construction permits and inspections were not mandatory in the regional district . What I have seen is framed walls with strapping and metal over . Thats a huge building to not have shear walls and /or bracing at intervals .( my thoughts only) one side of the roof slid and pushed the building over with huge weights on one side only. This isn’t even a big snow year . Insurance will be looking at blame ,you can bet on that. Around town there is only questions and speculation . Sections of the roof were advertised on FB for 1000$ for 50’ which is a good deal providing the trusses didn’t need repairs and re-engineering. I saw a roof section on a flatbed heading west yesterday so perhaps someone had a use or alternatively they were moving them out of the way .

Daughters went for a rip at the farm.
Putting the old Phazer and Mellenium Edition MXZ through the field and trails.
Old iron still runs great for a fun day!
