Are you still allowed to sled back there? They have no sledding signs posted on the other side of the road.

I hiked back into the grass lands. Be fun riding dirt bikes or sleds in the winter. But says no motorized fun allowed though.

Conservation area. So I had to hike it haha

In winter you stage at 21km. They have a cabin the kamloops snowmobile club uses futher up and groomed trails up to the medows and surrounding area.

Got shut down along time ago for motorized use in the lower area where you parked and hiked.

Lots of good single track in loops in other areas.

I sled Jamieson creek fsr which does attach to this area if i ride local and dont go outa town further

Nice. Im just here on buisness, but have been exploring a bunch already.

Was going to do goose lake road in my truck the other day, didn't have a radio with me.

Road looks pretty wide, but didnt want to be that guy.


I could live here though. Nice town.

Was through there the other week. They are fixing the road from being beat up from the pipe line work.

Haha. I got ran off the wap lake road years ago by a logging truck.

It was friday night, so probably would have been ok though

Jamieson creek fsr is a good drive can go way up. Is a waterfall but not marked to hike into. Park at 14km just before you climb the hill and trail is down off left side road

My son works for Nutrien Ag Solutions which distributes farm inputs to most of Alberta. He said the other day it took a trucker with a semi trailer 50 minutes to back up to a loading dock! He said an experienced driver can back up and set his air brakes in about 3-4 minutes from entering the parking yard.
