So when those pieces fall off does the next bit have to chew through it or do you send down a big magnet, recover them somehow?
In our case we are sitting on a hard calcite stringer so will need to run in w/ a magnet & junk sub. If the formation is softer you can try drilling ahead with a new bit hoping to push the lost cones or junk off to the side of the hole

This was on a service rig with cased hole on a re-abandonment drilling out cement. We had made it deep enough we didn’t have to go back in and recover the cones.

Been on Hibernia a few times, but that's a different bird. FPSO? I've seen them where the boat floats up and down around the derrick on the ocean floor?
