Maybe it’s a BC thing….lots of wells here mine included deeper than 200’ hanging on poly pipe….

It's more a physics thing. Not too hard to figure out.

.433 x well depth + pressure switch setting = static head pressure. You could push 160psi poly to 250ft but you've eliminated any safety factor.

Ouch that looks bad. What happened to it? My shelter has stood through our worst storms without an issue at all, even that crazy one in the winter.

We are getting it confirmed, but 99.9% sure that a mini tornado went through our yard. You can see the path it took, from some of the other yards, and completely untouched others. Just like the movie, LOL

That 30x40 tent was firmly secured to the ground, but it was picked up, compressed and thrown to the trees (120 feet away), like a wet paper bag!!!

Terrible terrible terrible. Hope insurance picks up the tab. There were confirmed funnel clouds in the city so its very possible. They said up to 120km winds as well. If it had a small path I'd rule out straight line winds
