Thats cool. I dunno much about that area but the info I did find quickly is, that looks like its off marine engine. Is that area coastal or around a large body of water???

It is for a marine engine. But the engines never seen water.in that aspect. They were used to power the generators at their power plant. I think this was one of the 1st power stations in BC.

A Penn 309 reel. It was a retirement present to my grandfather. When he came back from the war he worked for Natural Resources in Bancroft Ontario for almost 30 years. I just responded it with 80 lb braid and it’s going on my hali rod.
