Maybe a little big but its a .308... has Accutrigger and a decent upgraded Bushnell 3-9x40(not the combo junk scope)he has shot the 12 guage and loves it... so small grain bullets for now, but still a good all species caliber he can grow into. He just passed his Hunter Safety and is pumped to go hunting with me

I have a Savage .243 combo with Bushnel and Savage 7mm-08 combo with Weaver,.. nothing wrong with the Savage rifles.

Came down on friday around 6. Wife filmed it all coming down. Saved the 2 best vehicles. The others got it pretty good. 2 windshields, 2 hoods, 3 roofs, mashed one side of my 5th wheel. Blew holes in my plastic eavestroughs and about 10 holes in the siding on the house. not worth going through insurance after the deductables.

Those spider cranes are amazing. But a fork lift with a 10ft boom is just as effective
