Yes crmxgirl , there are a few steeper hills in spots & some bad muskeg spots (depending which way u go can be 1 or more km of it) but it's still doable . You miss some trail but can avoid most of the muskeg. We are going around fenced lease & private land, otherwise it would mostly be decent trail.
If u can't make this run ,call or text me sometime & maybe I could take u & hubby on some parts u haven't been on. 403-845-0435. Hadley .

Thanks tex. I've been waiting for the gf to get her schedule confirmed before I dedicated my weekend to this trip. I'll be calling tomorrow to book us in at the nordegg hotel and will meet everyone at the rocky petro at 8am on june 1. Cant wait!

If there's a group planning this out again for the fall 2 of us would love to join. I've only ridden the parts of rail line to just before jackfish and I hear it's much better after passing the private land. Any real bad hills? (The big ravine in horburg is no problem for me)

Yeah there was mention of a second trip later in the year, I am up for a later fall trip since I can't make this one yet again! lol

Did this trip with Hadster a few years back..............was AWESOME !!! Met some good people and had a blast seeing some "historical" stuff along the way !! A few "moist" spots but nothing too wild !! Great views of the mountains, river, etc.
Long day Saturday...10 hrs on the quad if I remember right. Quicker Sunday (6hrs) as we were wanting to get home !! (For what ...I don't know !! LOL)

pfff. dont think your good mechanics companion the brute was pulling the sled, so no pulls this year

putting the secondary spring in tonight hopefully and see how that works this saturday maybe i can test it in the mud, if the wind doesnt blow the rain into quebec.
