I think it's a better place to go in the winter to sit in the hot springs when it's cold out! Never been in the summer just winter though.

Expect heat and lots of people. Good places to camp and the lake isn't far.

Was just out there. Lots of tourists. Not a lot to do to be honest Hot springs I guess if you like that. Invermere lake is nice

Good eats at Back country Jacks in Radium, If you golf, upper springs best for scenery.and of course the Hot springs, if your into that., Invermere nice place to walk around.

Head up log road to Bugaboo Park and hike to the glacier.
Nice waterfall at the roadside campground also on the way up.

If you are into the hot springs thing, take a drive south to White Swan River, Lussier Hot Springs,

It packs in fast so get there early. the road in can be rough.

Check out the wood carvers shop, his is the old treehouse across from i think the ESSO.

Liard Trumps all, We just came from there. took our time driving up, 3days. and back, another 3 days. spend two nights there. I love that place.

Yes we were just their as well. First of last month when we did some boating in the area.
Been many times and never get sick of it.

Lussier Hot Springs is pretty cool all natural ...if they not for you the drive in is pretty cool

Nice place. Just be advised that there was active logging in the area.

Just the thousands of internet tourists that flock there now. It was rebuilt a bit after the big flood they had a few years ago but the area being filled with dirty hippies and broken glass hasn't changed. lol.

Well apparently I will be in the area camping from August 18-21.
Anybody local or familiar with the area know which are the better campgrounds?

Invermere to Golden corridor area would be fine.
Does not have to be right IN Radium.

Panarama ski resort parking lot????? lol
