You take water out of a creek and don't put it back?I use 100 feet of discharge hose so no water runs back into the creek.

I just use a piece of 3/8" soft copper with a garden hose ball valve, end bent 90* and pinched. Same idea, just $70 less. The best thing i found was to do a full/ proper clean of the rad after every weekend. From my experience a garden hose or pressure washer cannot get in the tight areas to work good. I bought the rad genie from peavy-mart and it has been my solution. It usually takes 5 mins to fully clear all of the fins, its amazing how it may look clean but this gets soo much more out. I haven't had the machine over heat now in 3-4 years by leaving home with a clean rad
