All I smoke are cigarellos. Never touched a cigarette in my life, and I've been smoking since I was 13 / 14. I only ever smoke peach Bullseyes since they got rid of filters, but my old man went to the states a few weeks ago and brought back a few packs of filtered peach Prime Times... I have 2 left, and I plan to save them and after this summer, I plan to quit. Gotta be after though because I have quite the summer of fun planned out!
My last 2 filtered ones will be the last ones I smoke. *cross fingers*

I tried to quit several times in the early 2000's and was sucsessful once then started again. started in 1996.

Finally got a new car in 2005 and couldn't afford both, so I quit.....problem is friends and co-workers always had smokes and even though I wasn't buying them, they were everywhere.....especially when your drinking with your friends every weekend.

So I became the weekend smoker.....then one sunday morning I started to cough up lots of half dried blood after a night or partying, still not sure from what, went to the doctor and everything was ok, maybe a nose bleed while I was sleeping, but ever since then I quit cold turkey and never looked back. Might sound silly, but I was only 24-25 years old then, had to do something.

You have to want to quit or perhaps be scared into it and stop drinking for a while!!!

I'll be 17 months smoke free at the end of june. I had no idea how beautiful summer smells until now. I can't imagine lighting up one of those filthy little bastards again.

41/2 yrs for me. smoked for 20 yrs. Tried everything from the patch to the pill to hypnosis. At the end of the day, it was the patch that worked for me. Like many have said, if your not ready to quit then nothing will work. I do know 1 person who quit cold turkey but still carried a pack with him just incase and he still does to this day!

I've heard really good stuff about Champix... But doesn't it have some really bad side effects I've heard...?

I have had three friends quit, all on champix. One of the four of us had bad dreams and nausea.

Touche. But first I have to "want" to quit.

Here's another incentive.
1.5 pack a day @$10.00 a pack=$15.00
30 days a month x $15.00=$450.00 p/m
10 months(I quit)x $450.00=$4500.00
Ten more months and I will have saved $9000.00 towards a new quad.
