Questions about CKMP

Has anyone been to CKMP? What can I expect when I arrive? What area do they sled in? Is it right from the lodge or do we load up and drive to an area? How long do you sled for in a day?

I'm super excited to be going for the 3 day skills camp, I leave tomorrow morning and ride Tuesday - Thursday.

I have been to a number of Carl's dealer rides for BRP. He runs a first class operation, has a spectacular layout there and his cook is fantastic. I haven't done any of his clinics but may try one this year or next as he has not had the opportunity to run much of those as BRP has kept him pretty busy with the dealer rides and R&D on new product. He is super nice and a great teacher and the big key, he is very patient. I highly recommend his operation.

Rides eagles pass a lot. I had a chance to attend with snopro for a day. Rode eagles pass and he took us to some places we didn't know existed. Great day had by all and yes runs a first class operation.

Also rides queest alot too cause snow permitting he can ride from the camp up

Summitric and I did Eagles last year. You arrive, relax, have an awesome meal and a few brews, visit and tour the shop (which is an awesome facility). They loaded 6 sleds to a trailer.
It was great.

Was that just the rental sleds they load or was that your personal sleds?

No personal sleds of your at the Dealers Camp, my mistake, we didn't ride a skills camp so I couldn't answer your question. Sorry.

Stayed there for a week this time last year for a level 1 operations course, excellent facility, fantastic people, amazing food! They could use a sign out front but that was my only gripe! Lol!

conserve your energy some one has to dig me out lol. Is there enough snow to drive from the lodge?

Not to sure, it looks sparse in town. It's dark now though so I can't get a good look.

I worked my 12hr night shift, went home and slept for 3hrs then drove 8hrs here. Going to sleep like a baby tonight.

Tomorrow is going to kick ass!
