On a side note I have the Klim Toggotee bibs as well as the Strik bibs and they are both equally great!

I have both the Stealth and a few seasons old Valdez. The Stealth gear is lighter, and it does feel like it stretches. I am not a big guy but I do feel the Stealth is slimmer fitting. I had the Stealth gear from day one last year. It never let me down. I don't like that they did away with the thumb holes on the cuffs, some people don't care about that and I don't like the velcro closure on the cuff either. I found the Valdez to have a little more protection in the shoulder area, minor but noticeable.

If I didn't have the Stealth I would likely have the Storm parka. It seems comparable, without the stretch material.

So which pants do you prefer, stealth or togwotee?? Or???

I had the extreme bibs as I didn't like the high front on the togwatee or other bibs. I like the stealth as its like a hybrid between a high front bib and the extreme bib.

Ralphs in Calgary has a pretty good selection, if you want to have a closer look, My brother just bought both actually from Geoff (Rotax Kid) and I really like the look and feel of the stealth, its a nice jacket... I picked up a very slightly used last years model pull over this year for under 200 bucks, otherwise I would be buying a stealth from Geoff

is the srikt gear as rigid as the klim gear or more like a shell?

The bibs I have are more rigid like the Klim togatee bibs, but very tough stuff for boondocking, if it tears...I am sure I'd no longer be on my sled.

I have both the stealth and valdez. When I got the stealth I though because it was so thin compared to the valdez I would need to wear a extra layer but I didn't. Think of your clothing as part of your safety gear. Which one would you wish you had if you had to do a overnighter in the bush.
