Put a damn helmet on

People who do not wear helmets are extremely selfish. Its not all about you. Suppose you are the one who gets a brain injury. Ok now the rest of your family is affected.
Whats more uncomfortable, a wheel chair, a coffin, a helmet. You pick.
And yes you will become another burden on the health care system. 20 Yrs ago when I joined the emergency services; first year costs for a quadriplegic was $1,000,000+. I shudder to think what it would be today.
If you dont wanna wear a helmet fine, but then sign your donor card and automatically opt out of any health care or insurance and cover ALL the costs yourself.
