Are the clutch side crank ends different between the two.
Bought a used 2012 and the new race primary I have doesn't work due to different taper.
Never heard of it being different but must have changed .

Bolt threads are less in the newer ones

That's y the cranks have less issues cause they have more meat to them

When I had a P-tek clutch on my e-tek, the belt didn't seem to line up..maybe it was cuz of XP to XM?

I was wondering if they where I got a puller for a ptec and if it was going to work for the xm[/
Have the ptec also and bought the etec puller .
The etec is about 3/8 shorter so you could just shorten the ptec.
