Haha. wont warm up as fast. I guess any kind of block heater won't work as well if there is a lot of wind. Maybe neglible amounts, but must be a little.

The cat will take exactly the same amount of time to warm up if it sits in -25 for a long enough time, or rides Tee's lowbed at warp nine for a few hours at the same temp. :)

Wind chill does not affect objects that are already at the ambient temperatures. If its -25 and the already cold sleds are being towed at 100km/h. The sleds are still only -25 along with the oil/coolant. The wind won't reduce the energy state of the sled to a point that is lower than the air itself, only get it to that point faster if its warm.

Just sayin!!

Thanks bill Nye.

Anyways my point is let yet friggn sled warm up!! I know your excited to hit the slopes but take 5 lol

Lol. I don't even own a sled. When I use my dads cat, I warm it up about 10 min every time, then take it easy for the first few runs. If its not mine, I treat it right ALL the time!

Seriously, I don't understand why people are always in such a rush. Get up 15 min earlier. Start up your sled, put your gear on. Once my tunnel feels warm, not necessarily hot, unload and go.

And both guys are equal in their riding ability, right ? LMFAO !!

smoke another one man I ride with new doos and cats all day long and the only ones that beat me are the ones with better riders driving. Equal riders do absolutely no better then me. You clearly are full of green crap.

Maybe climb a steeper hill. I don't even ride a skidoo, but I don't think I've seen a stock cat or Polaris highmark one. That's the only place skidoo out shines the others IMO. Other than that they're all equal in the trees and deep snow.

Riding styles make a big difference too, the pro just doesn't fit any of our likes, and having more problems in 12 days of riding than anything else we ride with has had over the years its clearly not a great choice, but hey Burandt can ride one so they must be awesome
