Took my primary clutch off my 2012 Freeride last week to look at the rollers and to clean up before we went out on the weekend. Put it back together and rode for three days. Got a "Check Engine" light with beeps about 4 times. This never happened before. Shut sled down then restarted, everything cleared. After reading this forum yesterday I read that you have to line the 9mm circle on the clutch with the notch on the crank shaft on 2012 etec's. Could that be the cause of my light coming on at low speeds? Too much vibration being picked up on a sensor? My 2011 never had this, what is the difference from the 2011 to the 2012's?

In my service manual the check engine light with 4 beeps only states "Engine Fault" or engine management system fault, and until a laptop is hooked up, anyones guess. 4 beeps repeating every 2 minutes is a knock sensor or detonation. Looks like need a stealership to hook up the BUDS and read what is really the issue. Maybe even warranty I would hope. Good luck.
