Hey guys Im going to try and build my own clutch tools for my 09 xp. I was wondering if anybody has the measurements for the "clutch holding tool"? I don't have my sled here at work so I can't measure it. I would need

The measurement of the GAP that's between the fork and SPACE center to center between the two "fingers" bolts ect.

Hopefully my attachment works...

And what is the size of the puller and what theads? Thanks guys and if this doesn't make sense pls ask and I will try and explain better

Removal tool; teflon tape and water. Holding tool?? Ratchet tie down. Yup I got them all. Puller and compressor tools are $80 bucks. Not worth it unless your doing lots. Made our own compressor tool. Actually the first 08 we did using a bench drill press to compress. Actually very easy.

I have alot of extra time at work that's why I want to try and build some. So if you use the water trick to get the primary off, how do you split the two parts after? Thanks for the replies guys.

Holding tool........I put a big flat screw driver between a ring gear tooth and that little square block on the side of the cylinder. Made a helix tool but my buddy made the threads for in the jack shaft.

You should have a puller or an old bolt (not the one you're going to re-use to hold the clutch on) to split the halves. Screw into the threads on the clutch, hold in left hand, palm up holding outer half inbetween both halves....hit bolt/puller with BFH, HARD. I use the old TRA holding tool still and it works fine....hook it beside the clicker bolt.
