I bought a 4000 psi 4.2gpm pressure washer 2 year ago from Princess Auto. The first time I used it the hose burst. I took the hose back and they replaced it with the same one. I go to use it a week ago and it had 4 breaks in it. F'n junk. So I need to replace the hose. The have different stuff there and also some at kms for 50-90 bucks depending on length. Has anyone used this stuff with success? I need something decent but don't want to spend 200 bucks on fricken hose. Remember I need something that will hold up to a lot of pressure. This aint your $100 1800 psi 1.5 gpm pressure washer.

I bought one of their 80 or 90 buck hoses a few years ago, no complaints so far.
Pressure relief valve isn't stuck on your washer is it?

No I don't think so. It is almost like the line froze and burst over winter, but it has been in my heated garage and should not have froze. Temps usually stay at 15c or warmer.

Just looked at the goodyear stuff. Only rated for 3000 psi. I looked at green line and they have ready made hose with a 4000 psi rating and is priced well. Might have to hobble down there tomorrow.

Has anyone tried using hydraulic hose? It's rated 4000-6000psi dual steel braided and is cheap. Custom lengths. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just crimp on some fittings.

I am pretty sure that is what is on mine. IMO hydraulic hose is not designed to be flexible enough for a pressure washer.

We use the good stuff from hotsy. We run 3500 psi, 180 degree water. Princess auto stuff won't last

pretty sure that's what we use on ours, our hotsy stationary unit is 3000 psi and the truck mounted karcher steamer/washer is 4000 psi and has a hundred feet on a hose reel.
