just picked up an 04 rev with an 800Ho and no oil injection. previous owner says he mixed 25:1 seems like too much oil to me?

whats a good mix?

I like 32:1 w'semi-synthetic oil.

I run 32:1 in my dirtbike but I hear a lot of sleds run 40:1.

I run Opti-II in all my 2 strokes. 100:1

No joke. I've never had a failure due to mix.

I also just tried the Amsoil this past summer at 100:1. No issues.

We used to run our 2-stroke race quads on Amsoil sSynthetic mixed at 75:1 the claim was the oil was capable of 100:1 we just chosse not to go there. Never had any issues at 75:1....on conventional oil we ran them at 40:1.

Amsoil is capable of 100:1. Been there. No issues.

Don't try this with any other oil based on my ratio. These are the only 2 oils I've done this with.

Amsoil and Optii II.

I'd still be using Opti II if my sources still carried it in the big jug.

Let me show you what I use because there are Amsoil oils that get mixed at 50:1

i have been running 30:1 and when i first start it, its like a smoke cloud! im going to start running 40:1 or 50:1.
