Just put power steering in my 08 rhino, rode 6 hrs. of tree bashing, diff lock on and off . So far it works unbelievably awesome, turns so easy, just like my Grizz. Distributed by P.G Yamaha, bought mine through Vernon Motor Sports, installs in 3 hrs. Really nice for the country we ride in.

Nice to know it works on the Rhino.

I have ridden an 07 grizzly with PS and it really works. It's no gimmick. Soon it will be standard on all high end / big bore atvs. And it should be.

Haven't received the bill yet, but I know its around a g . I had the dealer install it because I suck at electrical and didn't want to screw anything up. I believe it retro fits all year rhino's as it doesn't replace the rack and pinion, but mounts right behind the steering column and has a shorter shaft running to the rack. It definately makes the thing very easy to steer. heading out again this weekend, will beat it hard and have the update next week

I'm thinking that would be a G well spent. I would also like to upgrade my air intake, put a real rad protector on (that cheezie plastic thing that's suppose to protect the rad :( sheesh), do a chip or cdi or performance ignition or...I don't know enough about all this yet. Not sure I want to upgrade the exhaust. I know it is a real power booster but I really don't want the extra noise.

Has anyone tried the Black Rhino sheave? Is it worth it?

I have at least 600kms on the rhino since i put on the power steering and havent had a single issue. My 12 yrs daughter drives it with full diff lock on and can steer with one hand. ABSOLUTE BEST upgrade I have ever done to any of my rhino's . Also put H.I.D lights from dirtlights.com - Mesa, Arizona - Home on the rhino, they are easy to install and replace the factory dim bulbs, they are bright, I don't have to use the 4 PIAA's mounted up top half the time now. Just received my Black Rhino sheave but havent installed it yet. Will give an update when i have some km on it . Go Riding TV spent 2 days filming our last trip, so keep your eyes open for the show when it airs !!!!!!

Hello Nor-Val in Armstrong,
I'd like to ask you if you are still happy with the added on power steering and what the actual cost of buying and having it installed was from Vernon yamaha dealer. Thanks
