Power Pole for Yard Light?

Anyone have any suggestions for yard light poles?

I would like to get a 60'ish footer and put a 360 degree light.

The brighter the better......

Find an Atco yard. They always have old ones there swaping out that are perfect for yard lights. Just put two in out at the parents farm.

Pretty sure a friend of mine found telephone poles on Kijiji. Try a search for those?Longest he could find was 40ft.

Pole is so tall the lights lower down to the base for maintenance.


I buy new poles once and a while but never that big. The Home Depots and Walmart parking lots use 40’ poles with 4x 1000 watt metal halides, or now huge LED’s.


That shat will put a dent on you bank account!


I’m sure there are used ones being replaced but no idea how to find out who to contact.

Poles probably 2 grand new plus the heads.

Head cost can depend on what you pick. 200-700$ each. Depending on style or wattage.

they just replaced a crap load of those on the gasoline alley realignment! should be sitting somewhere. no idea who took them down? but a quick call to atco or even a powerline maintenance/builder co may get u what you seek?

Its what we do...got everything and anything. Call me and I’ll get you some info. 60’ is like Henday type lights, Power bill would be about $460 a month...I got better choices for ya.
