Why the new motor? Polaris can't hold their 600s together either?

After 1500 miles my piston went to pieces. Polaris did a investigation and said that the oil pump was faulty from day one. Polaris got me a new motor and installed $4500 out of their pocket they say. So time will tell with the new one :d . Went out for one ride the end of last year and it had more power than from the first day i picked it up.
