looks to me that you're doing more work with your arms than you're supposed to be doing Mr!!!!!!!
better figure out what caused that breakage so it does not occur again!
looks like pot holes in edmonton are once again doing there job!
in the link Ron posted the frame manufacturer is named, seems the ones that are having the same trouble are built by that companyso are these frame failures only on the wildcats or are there any others to look out for?

So is this caused by throwing a trailer behind the fifth wheel and exceeding the ratings on the trailer and king pin?
That and driver abuse.

you figure pulling a trailer behind a fifth wheel would add to the weight on the pin? what "rating" are you thinking is being exceeded? So is this caused by throwing a trailer behind the fifth wheel and exceeding the ratings on the trailer and king pin?
It only adds dead stopped , initially moving weightyou figure pulling a trailer behind a fifth wheel would add to the weight on the pin? what "rating" are you thinking is being exceeded?

thanks for the clarification. it is clearly a manufacturing issue.Like tex said it wont be extra weight on king pin it will be extra force being exerted on pin and frame from towing the extra weight. Fifth wheel trailers themselves have a max loaded weight rating. The idea of that is to keep those forces down within a managable limit for the trailer frame, axels, king pin ect. It would be like towing a truck using the tow hooks. In theory they can handle the force of towing the truck. Add a extra thousand pounds to truck box and the hooks will break due to the extra force being exerted. However in this case it sounds like manufacturing issues
