Not to be picky but I have a tough time believing that the fan is capable of excavating more cfm then what would escape that hole without the fan. What I’m saying is when the clutch is rotating and the fins are forcing air out that hole, would that tiny little fan not act as a restriction? I could see at low speeds or when stopped it would work wonders but under normal conditions I think it would do more harm than good, if there were more holes allowing the excess air to escape when when moving I’d think it would be much more effective. I can see how your belt temps are lower after slowing down and stopping as it would be doing a great job of evacuating hot air at that point but under load I’d have to say it’s going to be just as hot or hotter than if you just had a hole.
