Fixed drivers on drive shaft , independant movement on front portion of rails = twisting track, maybe I'm confused? Like I said, I hope it works great!

And the track bends 4 times around the wheels sliders and drivers as it goes round 'n' round 'n' round....Trench, don't become an engineer.LOL

Modman, if this statement is true (red) then the track will be twisting some as the rails move independantly from each other. Will it cause a problem? who knows, time will tell.

As for all those people who can't ride and sidehill an older XP..... I thought you were all claiming to be a higher level of riders??

We are a higher level of riders and we can ride XP's, but why would we want to ride such an ill-handling water buffalo when there's much better technology out there. I do, in fact, look forward to trying an XM. Looking in from the outside, it still appears to be bandaids on something that needs stitches, but I will keep an open mind until I ride one.

so while at the puyallup snow sho in washington last week i got to meet brett and we got on the topic of how the new doo stacked up against the poo. the first thing he said to me was the pro is for pro riders and the doo is for guys who need that extra help. i kinda thought it was strange that thats what he said. but talking to him futher i could understand why he would and the doo in his riding clinics. of course you would want a sled that made your customers in your riding clinics look better than they really are. it just made me realize that if a guy already knows how to side hill and tackle technical terrain there really is no need of the t-motion. havent had a chance to ride one yet so this is just what i took from the convo and me being a cat guy for years and a doo guy before that, i just think that the pro might be the better buy. just my two cents i guess....
I don't have a problem with A LITTLE HELP. All it is going to mean is more fun on the hill with buds sitting around laughing their asses off cause one of them went down where his skill level did not follow him. Great stucks and Good times had by ALL. That's what me and my T motion have planned.

In other words, you can't handle an XP.
I can ride an XP, POO, Yammy, and Cat. i am versatile. Sounds like you are saturated in your ways of riding.
What technology do you speak of? Rider forward? RER?
Ergonomics? Is that a technology? Well you best climb on board the XM and don't look back.

Cuso, answer me this. If the XP was such a great handling mountain sled, why did Doo make the changes they did to try and compete with the #1 selling sled the last two years. Stay in your bubble and keep trying to sell your BS. Nobody other than blind loyal Doo faithful are buying. I'm looking forward to trying the XM, but don't try to sell me on a sled that Doo themselves has basically raised the white flag on.

Very likely. It wouldn't have anything to do with wanting to de-throne the current king. LMFAO !!!

As we are in a commonwealth country we still have queen. But you and I know that lordship means sweet F.A. Same as the king your talking about. Lol. Should be a great year. Lots of new tech out. Honestly hope everything works good for doo and poo alike.

Every generation of sled generally makes doing the advanced stuff easier... The Pro is great because it was made easier to handle, now when the xm gets an "easier" upgrade its for noobs? Im sorry this makes no sense

So, what did I say that wasn't true ? Too much DOOlaid clouding your mind ?

LOL 2 yrs on top after decades of sucking probably isn't something you want to brag about. The last great Polaris triumph was the XLT triple. I've owned them all and ridden them all. At one point last year I owned 3 different brands all at the same time. I don't even ride a Doo currently. Open your mind. :D

Decades of sucking ?? My '01 800 RMK never had a problem stomping on '01 Doos. My mind is wide open and I ride what works best for me. I've never argued about the ETEC engine and wish I could put one in my Pro, but I've not been a fan of Doo chassis's for a long time. They've had a much too "planted" feeling for me. I loved the IQ chassis I had and I like the Pro chassis even more. It would seem to me that you closed your mind years ago to the option of owning a superior sled, or all you do is go straight up and down wide open hills, in which case, the Doo would most likely excel.

First of all, 2 years? Come on, not sure what rock you were sleeping under for a year or got your 'facts' how many grey or red/black pros are there, not a dominant year.
Too bad that that's all they get. 1 year.

Talking about white flag, go back to the arm shaking rmk 866, oh yeah, then the 700.. HUH... uhh nogood.. then the 800, which had and still has the power of the doo etec 600....then the white flag after the dragon had a full 3 years production... HMM... BRP is still using the same base chassis, refined-because it's PROVEN...6 YEARS running and still selling like hotcakes... Looks like someone is a changin' a lot more here...:eek:

Sorry you missed the boat..
