My 2007 X2 800 tends to lurch or creep when I am on a slight downhill incline with the brake applied, it also seems to be a real bear to change from say low range to hi range, you have to go back into park and then select hi range and then it seems to slide in okay. It does not have ADC.
I was wondering if anyone else with a Sportsman has experienced this?

Thanks

did you say it does that with the breaks on? My o6 sportsman does that i do have a clutch kit on but i think my clutches need to be alined, mine rolls away from me in high range.

Yes with the brakes applied and stopped is when it does it. In talking to a few different people they have suggested:
Clutch alignment.
Loose engine mounts
Possible shimming problem with clutch.

I will keep you posted how it turns out, right now it is at the dealer as it is still under warranty.

all three of the things you listed are all pretty much the same thing. i would say your clutches need to be aligned.

Turns out it was a broken motor mount, shifting problem cured, and creeping problem.
