sorry if this is in the wrong section. I was wonderin if any of you guys were running nitrous on your rzr's, if so what kit did you use and how has it changed the reliability of the engine? I am thinking of doin a nitrous kit on my stock engine but would like some feedback so i dont go out and blow the thing up. Thanks for takin the time to reply.

The crank will not handle any more than a 10 shot , Many Boss Noss 20 hp kits have had big problems and they are one of the safer kits on the market....imo

There are two ways to get big power out of a rzr...
1 Turbo 80 rwhp Lots of crank issues....
2 Big bore kit ,preferrably Holz , Very reliable, about 75 CRANK horse power with big time bottom end.

Both of these are going to cost you 4 to 5 k.....

Why not?.......

Because stock cranks like to twist above 7000 rpm's and when you shoot, you raise the rpms above and BOOM!

If he wants to spray he is gonna have to pay,.. not worth the $3000(guestimate) including nitrous kit to use it.

go for it if you want!!! they said the something to me about my quad!!! 2 years not one problem yet.... you just need a wet kit and someone to tell you how to us it right. we have NOS on a cheap 50 bike. we ran a 15 shot in it all the time just for a laugh lol and it is steel running good... but it is a power that not aways there all the time like a Turbo you have to know when you can use it??? 8 sec is my MAX i don't go over that will i try not to lol.... but what kind of riding are you doing to need NOS?

I do a lot of mud riding and would like just alittle bit more power to keep the wheels spinning. I just wasn't sure how a turbo would hold up goin through skeg and didn't really wanna do a big bore till the motor blows.

Seen lots of turbo rzr's out there think they hold up pretty good with snorkles in the mud and skeg.
