Have a guy that wants to trade a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 for my truck. Anything I need to look for on this bike? Any faults with them?

The 500 KTM motor is good... That's bout it though.

I thought they were sporting the KTM engine?? I guess maybe that was in the later years? In that case then it ain't worth squat really. What kind of truck are you trading?

03 ram 1500 regular cab long box 2wd 4.7L engine. 293,000 km on it.

outlaw 525's and 450's were ktm.

I would say 3 g before may long. If its 100% that is. They have a bad name the predators do.

sorry for the bad news. they just were not that good. an '03 is on the 10 year list which pretty much bottoms them out in value. two bones maybe with some trick parts thrown in.

I have a mint one, Near impossible to get rid of, zero issues with it. It is fast an fun to drive... If it had chain drive 4x4 like the old scramblers I would keep it. First mud hole on a trail if ther is no way around you got to turn around

You do realize this guy has probably been sitting on this quad for years trying to sell it to some poor guy... Good luck getting rid of it if you buy it, not really a quad u wanna buy to try and resell for a profit..
