|Hey guys, i am new here, i just bought a 02 polaris edge x 700, had no reverse, so i bought a reverse chain case off ebay, i had no problems swaping it out, my question is i have this small steel sleeve that seems to probably fit in the bottom gear set but i can not find it on any chain case pics, and i have no idea where it supposed to go, everything else seems straight forward, the sleeve fits/ registers into the back end of the spline sleeve but does not seem right, and it looks like a seal has been running on the outside. would this go against bearing then the spline sleeve go against it? any help would be great " I FOUND OUT WHERE IT GOES, ON OTHER SIDE OF BEARING ON THE JACK SHAFT, THE SLEEVE CAME WITH ALL THE OTHER REVERSE PARTS. MY SLEEVE WAS STILL ON JACK SHAFT, I DID CHANGE ORING. HOPE THIS HELPS FUTURE REVERSE CHAIN CASE SWAPING. LATER
