Ski-Doo is pooched.

How so?
Other than a few videos of top level riders on spring(ish) snow, we don't really know how these things will perform and reliability is complete unknown.
Above all else, you can't actually buy one. Sure, there were a handful allotted to each dealer, but they were gone in a few hours. Kind of difficult to gain market share on very limited production runs.
Whaddaboutnextyear? Of course if they turn out to be a hit, I'm sure poo will ramp up production, but at that point doo or cat have had another year to come up with their latest and greatest.

They have work to do yet. Watch turcotte and Chris browns video he just posted. There is something going on with the machines they start surging badly after long pulls I don’t think the fuelling is quite right on the prototypes yet

Feel the same, my Alpha holds low 80 km/h on climbs also. I would have thought a 9 lb turbo would be faster than that.

Don’t seam right to be that low of speed for a 190hp sled, we had 97km with the stock tdoo 165

I would of thought 110 with a 15-165 for sure

If the Doo is seeing the Poo’s tail light keep getting further away with both getting 80kms ish ?
I would have to think the Poos GPS speed is much better !!
9 months from now we all will see who’s full of it ?!! Ha
Maybe even sooner .....

Seeing as the new gauge (the one big enough to read with the big free glove box behind it) is GPS linked I would have to agree on ground speed or else something wrong with gauge.
Lower gauge speed but ahead of the Doo - no making sense.
Lots of rumor time till next fall......lol

And yes 50mph would not be impressive track speed for 185hp

The speed was fluctuating pretty rapidly in videos I have seen. Seemed like track asked to me.

70 km/h in this pic so pretty sure that’s track speed.

That sled looks like it’s ripping faster than the indicated speedor it’s actually MPH.
I asked Chris in that post if it was truly KmH after he posted it in KmH, his trackspeed peaked at 82KmH he claimed. His reply to me was that he was not sure now.

Something seems off or incorrect. Last trip I was out, in similar snow conditions I was seeing 57/58mph climbing and I was geared down two teeth on the top.

Or..... the doo speedo is out of wack on its calibration, I should try and check it with the GPS this weekend.
