Wow!
10% more power at sea level and 50% more at 10,000 feet. So at 6000 that’s what 30% more assuming it’s a linear curve? So approx 170 ish hp?

10% boost from turbo at sea level. Gonna be a lot of these around if they rove to be reliable.

Isn't the 850. ~165hp? So more like 180hp on the boost? Sounds like the turbo hp is the same from sea level up to 10k.

My math could be wrong.
but I think 165 at sea level plus 10% would put you at 181.5
and I think at 6000 ft the 850 makes around 130 hp. Add 30 % to that and you get 170

I’m just happy to see the competition. I’m sure doo will crank up the boost and answer back with a new lighter chasis in a year or two. I have jumped back and forth over the years but can say I have always preferred a polaris chasis. If this boosted engine holds up its a home run. Don’t forget a new clutch and they already have good clutches. So many nice things about the polaris anyone looking at a new sled would crazy not to compare all the options out there.

This thread is about to be inundated by the Doo boys crying and generating excuses as to why they support an inferior brand....

I’m a Doo guy but I’m really excited about this. Supper narrow chassis. Short tapered tunnel. 181.5HP@8.5psi. Super light. Looks like it’s easy to throw around and Polaris has an amazing gauge/gps with buddy track. Even if I was a heavy iron guy there’s no way that you’re not impressed with this. I’m sure that Doo helped push Poo to this and Doo’ll come back with something for 2023 as well. It’s amazing for our sport.

I’m really going to hate the price tags though.

I forgot to mention the new clutch. Built in bearing so it’s always under tension. Def not going to have any heat issues as the belt is always tight.
