Fair enough............but it's still a company in Quebec. You don't know the facts. The Canadian government did subsidize the planes and trains portion of Bombardier. The recreactional division was split years ago and has never received a $.

I love how every other brands' faithful have to resort to this....lol.Fixed it for you. There is a difference. It's a company in Quebec that we Canadians subsidize to stay in business.

Seems I do know my facts after some quick google searching. BRP is just smart in how they acquire these government funds. They partner with the University of Sherbrooke and then receive 11.3 million from the government to help develop the hybrid spyder.
Clicky clicky:
I think we should bag on Air Canada for awhile. Now there are some trough hogs.

Nope, just not a fan of Quebec..........or Ontario for that matter.Would it be better if it was a company in Saskatchewan ???

does polaris give out grants to the different snowmobile clubs? like I said etec with nerly 4000 on it with pipes clutching done and still have yet to see that check engine light come on! or even sputter once! I like the look of the new pro was not a big fan of the feel of it but i'm sure if i rode it more I would get used to it. That being said I feel like the polaris and the cat when you stand on them still feel like you have a lumber wagon in front of you! XP is still the closet feeling to riding a dirtbike and that is the feeling I like. polaris also needs to widen there running boards I'm 5'8'' 160 pounds with size 9 feet and my feet over hang on the sides of those running boards!
how have the new polaris pro motors been this year? I have heard some mixed reviews but have never actually seen ones motor go down so i'm just wondering if it's story time or if it was true that they were still having issues? I know that new cat sure has its issues! I hope a certain littel fella from cranbrook is reading cause last I heard he was yipping to me about how is new cat is the best thing ever but yet he has gone through two new belts and had major difficulty locating the third bahahahaha
Wow 4000kms and it's still going your running on borrowed time. One of the guys in our groups etec went south at 2200kms crank and pistons.if you make 3000kms you are doing good.or you can buy the etec and have 4000 km's without a hiccup with only 1 belt blown in 4000 km's and no other issues I say skidoo stepped up quite a bit with the new motor!
I've got an 2010 800 Dragon and I love it. Hasn't missed a beat (except for the voltage reg at 0.5 hours.) I'm not really running the crap out of it, though, like some guys.
Is there something I could be checking to prevent engine problems?
piston were under recall and most have bearings check well they were apart. buddy got a free new motor when his was checked. brp warranty is awesome! cant say that about polaris.Wow 4000kms and it's still going your running on borrowed time. when that was happening, BRP threatened to pull out of quebec if the "oui" side won.Sorry to swing this thread off topic again but I have a bit of an issue with being labeled as a red neck bigot because I don't want to support a company based in Quebec. If your happy with your BRP product and feel good about paying more for it to support a CANADIAN company, great. But if you are from Western Canada and don't feel like you get the shaft from Quebec's constant whining for hand outs and special status, you must like taking it. Remember that the people of Quebec were less than a couple of % away from voting to separate from Canada, personally wish they would have done it. So if that makes me a red neck bigot, that's your opinion, but I think we western Canadians have a good reason to feel this way.
