96 Summit 500 converted to 670... we had that sled for 11 years. Rode it hard and NEVER did anything to it but put in oil and maybe a couple sets of plugs and belts. Would just never let us down
My old 98 670x. Union bay big bore kit, 44mm mikunis with individual filters, dropped and rolled on a 144 X 2 and twin jaws pipes, DPM and oil injection removed. simmons skis and an avenger 2. Ripped like no other but was a little finicky with jetting.
This was my 2002 summit 144 also shown below and in above pics. I had 4240 miles on it when the piston broke and then cracked the base. All of the miles were mountain miles and LOTS of WFO:d
Now its parted out. But one thing the only time it was behind a rope was when
the engine blew up!! Can't complain there! Tough sled for sure! The only thing I would say about these sleds if you have a few thousand mountain miles on then put a set of pistons in!!
Nice pics Treemongrol... you should have kept the 2000 700... that would at least keep you in the same ball park as farmer :d
Here is my in the 2003 Summit 151" "Stealth sled" in the works... RKT 827 with RKT Head, billet shocks, powder coated trailing arms, gas rack and Team secondary (all black), SLP Powder pros, RSI 7" riser with Aero pro taper bars, SLP vent kit (dash and shock tower), clutch cover venting, Dynoport ceramic coated pipe and can, Vforce 3 reeds, Boss high rise seat..
Currently needing PTO piston for the 827... will have the completed pics in April
