I should mention on the Rev sled the bottom Rivets you REALLY have to check the back side of the side panel to make sure that the rivet clears the plastic on the back and that the washer will sit flush. There were 2 rivets I had issues with on both sides and had to re direct the angle of the drill when we pre-drilled. One I had to just re-drill a new hole.

Heya J,

I ended up going with a vent kit from Menz Toys. Easy to install and he gave me good tips. Do not cut out the area completely. Instead drill holes that are in line with where the vent will be over.

In the pics you can see that I drilled holes in line with the mesh. Most of the spots I fit 3 holes down. I haven't put the vent kit on my hood yet but will do that this week. Also thinking of getting the ones for the front and back of the side panels to allow air flow.

Contact Wayne at Menz Toys. Good product.

Hey Rawdy, Wow! Looks good! I see why you want to fix instead of replace...how much was the kit? I wouldn't think you require anymore venting...looks like you have lots of air flow...I've got a 09 Summit that vented at the front and rear of both my side panels and i noticed right away my sled ran cooler (I installed a temp gauge on mine)...I'd add a pic but don't know how...

J

I bought mine as seperate pieces instead of a kit as I didn't want everything that was in the specific kit for my sled.

Check out their site His prices are all listed on there. If you email him or call him too he'll be able to let you know over the phone.

When I get the vents installed on my hood I can send you pics of that as well if you'd like. :)

the one with you buddy and the chisel! Tree brach?

haha no silly! Those are the holes I drilled in the panel to allow air flow through the vent kit! :) The chisel is to just get the extra plastic shavings off and smooth it down.
