Good day, So I bought a new to me holiday trailer. Everything works great, but the threads on the fresh water tank drain are not in great shape. I filled the tank the other day at home and noticed the drain plug dripping a bit. I thought it was a bit loose so I gave it a quick snugg then it popped out. Threads are pretty much gone. Any suggestions on how to fix short of replacing to whole tank?

Thanks Scott

Drill out and tap to the next size bigger? Or buy the liquid thread sealer I think permatex makes it that stuff works 20x better then tephlon tape.

As Neil said fix the threads, then install a new drain that does not require you to unscrew it again
