The only place I could find it in this town was home hardware and they charge $24/ can and don't have much variety so I just ordered a bunch of different colours and the cleaner from dipcanada.ca , the shipping was fast too.

Dipeffects is a good place to pick it up, they have experienced staff . I plasti-dipped over the chrome on my bumpers on my duramax. I've had it on for a few years , stuff works great. Just don't be skimpy on the layers. Put Atleast 5 coats on

So here is a little update. Finished the plasti-dip and installed the rest of the parts I wanted this year.

Here is the rundown:

-Plasti-dipped hood and plastics black
-Plasti-dipped tunnel black
-Plasti dipped inside of stock wind shield (kept stock hieght instead of a low due to the vicious cold around here).
-Plasti-dipped window side deflectors in dark grey
-Plasti-dipped hood V in a dark grey
-Plasti-dipped seat storage compartment in yellow
-Painted running boards in wrinkle black
-MBRP Trail can
-yellow ski loops
-Yellow skidoo knee pads
-New belt
-Yellow Shock covers
-black transparent headlight decals

Finally all done and I'm happy with the final result!

For comparison here it is before:

I did some plasti dip at the beginning of season on my XM. I did the both bumpers, brake cover hood panels. I've put in 4 mountain days so far this year and the dip is in horrible shape already. It's cool if you want to see how it would look before you paint/powdercoat but don't expect it to last.
